Uttam misleading people on govt schemes, alleges Karne
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar on Thursday alleged that the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy was misguiding people about the irrigation projects and development works in the State.
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar on Thursday alleged that the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy was misguiding people about the irrigation projects and development works in the State.
Addressing a press conference here, Prabhakar alleged that Uttam Kumar was indulging in cheap tricks and making baseless allegations against the State government. He said the Congress leaders were trying to get ‘cheap’ political mileage on Pulichintala Hydel project, irrigation projects and others.
He alleged that the Congress leaders had failed to pay a suitable compensation to those who gave their lands for Pulichintala project. The previous Congress regime had not only failed to complete the projects, but was also trying to sabotage the welfare and development programmes of the State by spreading false news in panic, he alleged.
Prabhakar further alleged that Uttam Kumar was resorting to self-deception by making useless comments over the projects, welfare and development works. “The Court also passed strictures against the leaders who tried to stall the works,” he said.
Stating that the TRS government was offering suitable compensation to the land owners for cooperating with the government, he said the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had directed the officials to take all steps as per the Land Acquisition Act and offer best compensation to those giving their lands, he added.
