78 dialysis units to come in 39 hospitals in Telangana
As many as 78 single use dialysis units will be established in 39 hospitals under Public Private Partnership. The Telangana Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TMSIDC) has completed the tender process for purchasing the units.
Hyderabad: As many as 78 single use dialysis units will be established in 39 hospitals under Public Private Partnership. The Telangana Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (TMSIDC) has completed the tender process for purchasing the units.
Along with the dialysis units, RO plants centres under Aarogyasri scheme will also be established in these hospitals. Minister for Health Laxma Reddy said as on Friday, around 10,000 kidney effected patients were on dialysis. We had set up six centres in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Siddipet, and Mahbubnagar.
The health services in these dialysis centres would be available very soon, he said in a press release issued here on Friday. These patients under Aarogysri scheme have been getting dialysis for free of cost.
