The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) had decided to invite tenders for developing as many as 1,111 plots on Koheda layout which are spread over 103 acres. 

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) had decided to invite tenders for developing as many as 1,111 plots on Koheda layout which are spread over 103 acres.

The Koheda plots will be given to the affected families under Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R and R). The proposed project will be developed with an estimated cost of Rs 55 crore.

The HMDA had to allot plots to the families who lost their lands due to land acquisition under Outer Ring Road (ORR) project.

The officials have now decided to provide developed layouts to the affected families. Under land acquisition for ORR, the HMDA had acquired around 5,000 acres of land for 158km stretch.

A senior HMDA official said the 103 acres of Koheda layout would cost around 55 crore. He said 1,111 plots are of 150 square yard, 200 square yard, 300 square yard, 500 square yard, 600 square yard, 1,000 square yard and 2,000 square yard.

The officials said these layouts will be developed with roads, drainage system, street lights, water supply and greenery.
