Hyderabad: Telangana Excise Commissioner R.V. Chandravadan said that the State Government was not targeting anyone in the drugs case and the investigations was going on in a fair and free manner.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Chandravadan condemned the criticism on ongoing probe into drugs cases. He also refuted the allegations that the Excise Department was selectively targeting film personalities.

He said that the case was extremely sensitive and it was being handled with utmost care by taking into consideration all technical aspects. He said no person involved in the drugs mafia would be spared.

The Excise Commissioner said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has given complete freedom to the Excise Department in conducting the probe and the investigations were being conducted as per his instructions.
