Man develops app to help repair potholes in Hyderabad

A man from Hyderabad has developed an app to detect potholes and immediately alert Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for repairs.

The man, Shiva Kiran took up the task to help repair potholes as he believes the work is not efficiently done despite a number of vehicles getting deployed daily to fill up potholes in the city.

Elaborating further, he said that his app will assist GHMC to prioritize and repair the potholes that require immediate attention.

The app which works on Google maps, helps citizens to point out the exact location of the pothole on the road, that needs to be filled following which the information is sent to GHMC, who will take up the repair works.
