SIT grills Chinna for four hours
Telugu film art director Dharma Rao alias Chinna on Tuesday appeared before the SIT of Telangana’s Prohibition and Excise Department in connection with the drug racket busted here earlier this month.
Hyderabad: Telugu film art director Dharma Rao alias Chinna on Tuesday appeared before the SIT of Telangana’s Prohibition and Excise Department in connection with the drug racket busted here earlier this month.
It is learnt that during the 4- hour long questioning, the SIT officials tried to find out about his connection with Calvin. They also tried to find out if he consumes drugs and if so for how long.
The officers also probed into his links with Puri Jagannath. Chinna is said to have mentioned the names of some film and Television actors who use drugs. Later the SIT officials said that Chinna had cooperated well with the investigating team.
Meanwhile, an official heading the SIT probe, asked the people not to judge the investigation process without having complete knowledge about it. He has saidthatsome people were alleging that the probing officers are not doing their duty properly. Such comments ``amount to defamation,” he added.
