SIT questions Charmi in drugs case
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Prohibition & Excise Department on Wednesday examined three persons, including cine actress Charmi Kaur, in connection with the drug cases. Two other persons who were questioned today are Sachin Dhavan and Md. Sujauddin @ Salman.
Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Prohibition & Excise Department on Wednesday examined three persons, including cine actress Charmi Kaur, in connection with the drug cases. Two other persons who were questioned today are Sachin Dhavan and Md. Sujauddin @ Salman.
Their examination was started at 10 AM and completed by 5 PM. As directed by the High Court, Charmi was quizzed in the presence of lady officers. Those who questioned Charmi are AP&ES K. Pavan Kumar, Inspectors B.L. Renuka and V. Jaya Lakshmi and Sub-Inspector Ch Shravani. The proceedings were video graphed.
Charmi refused to give consent for drawing of samples of Body Fluid, Hair and Nails. Thus, the same were not collected.
The SIT will question actress Mumaith Khan on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the SIT arrested a Dutch National, Mike Kamminga, in connection with the ongoing investigation into drugs being supplied in Hyderabad. The person is 33 years old and has visited India four times. His Visa is valid till June 2018. He was found in possession of Psychotropic Substances. Further investigation is in progress.
