​Hyderabad: The High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday directed Telangana State government to submit by next week the details of action taken by it on the Miyapur land scam case. It also directed the government to place all relevant records pertaining to sale of government lands in Miyapur.

The division bench compromising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganthan and Justice T Rajini gave this direction while hearing a PIL petition filed by an advocate Raghunandan Rao who sought a CBI probe into the scam.

The petitioner brought to the notice of the court that that the Supreme Court had restrained the registrations of all transactions pertaining to lands in survey numbers 20, 28, 100 and 101 in October 2014 itself. Ignoring the orders by the apex court 700 acres have been sold.

The petitioner also contended that the investigation by the local police was not going in the right way and therefore CBI must step in. Telangana Special Government Pleader informed the Court that the officers who had facilitated the transactions had been suspended and cases booked against them.

The bench, while adjourning the case to August 1, directed the State government to place on record the details of sale after the Supreme Court orders and the action taken in this regard
