Hyderabad: The Joint Action Committee of Jobless Youth of Osmania University on Friday demanded that the State Government immediately release the results of police Sub-Inspector exams.
The JAC activists took out a rally from Osmania University Library to Arts College to press for their demand. The JAC leaders said that the exams for recruitment on SIs' posts were held about 9 months ago. But the State Government did not release the results.
They said that the OU students actively participated in the statehood movement hoping to get jobs in the new State. However, they said even after three years, their dream to get a government job was not realised.
The activists also did a novel protest by doing sit-ups.
