Hyderabad: It is the passenger’s fault when travelling without a ticket in the Railways but, in RTC buses it is conductor’s fault which should be changed, BC union National leader Krishnaiah said. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) celebrated the Telangana National Mazdoor Union Foundation day on a grand scale at VST function hall here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, union general secretary Hanumanthu Mudiraj said the union was started with an agenda of development of RTC workers and to resolve their issues. He lambasted the TMU which failed to address labour issues.

Hanumanthu demanded that the government recognise the RTC workers as government employees and pay wages equivalent to other government employees.
