Hyderabad: The spot admissions for the remaining seats in the engineering colleges would begin from August 4. The Telangana State Council for Higher Education issued the guidelines here on Friday.

As many as 12,000 seats are available in the engineering colleges after completion of the counselling process and 77 per cent of the seats under the convener quota have been filled up during the counselling.

According to the note issued by TSCHE, the spot admissions would begin from August 4 and would continue till August 9. The filling of remaining seats through spot admissions should be made only after internal sliding procedure.

Students who did not get seats through the counselling process and those who qualified in the EAMCET would be provided with seats at the time of spot admissions. Those who did not take part in the EAMCET counselling session could also apply.

The spot admissions would be held in the colleges directly and the candidates desirous to seek admission were told to contact the Principal of the respective institutions.

The details of college-wise and branch-wise allotments and the available vacancies are uploaded on the website

https://tseamcet.nic.in Notification to fill up the left-over vacancies under spot admissions would be issued on August 4 and process would continue till August 9.

The last date for uploading the details of the candidates for spot admissions through online is August 11 and last date for submission of hard copies of relevant certificates along with DDs is August 16.
