Aam Aadmi Party demands justice for farmers

Mancherial: A bus tour taken up by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to support ‘Farmers fight for justice,’ meeting to be held in Hyderabad on August 28, reached Mancherial on Friday.

AAP State leader Raju criticised that the Central government had failed to solve the farmers’ issues in its three-year rule. He said the government had gone back to provide Minimum Support Price to farmers as mentioned in Swaminathan Committee report.

He demanded that the government should pay compensation to farmers who suffered losses due to the untimely rains. AAP State president Sudhakar, Convener Abdul, State official spokesperson Sudhershan, Sai, Venkatesh and Ajay were present.
