Health camp for women held

Nalgonda: Women play a key role in family setup, they must take measures to be healthy and fit for life, District Women police station CI Anuradha opined.
She along with IMA President Dr Vasantha Kumari, Indian Bank manager Neeraja launched the medical camp for women above 35 years. The launch was organised jointly by Gynaecology doctors’ association of Nalgonda in association with Lions club of Nalgonda Sneha and Spoorthy Self Help group of Boyawada of Nalgonda at IMA building.
Speaking on this occasion, Anuradha said women after 35 years pose to lot of health issues due to calcium and blood deficiencies. She appreciated Gynaecology doctors for conducting heath camp for women.
IMA Neelagiri association general secretary and gynaecologist Dr Sucharitha said several tests were conducted in health camps including BP, RBS, HB percentage, breast and gynaecology tests. She further said as many as 100 women attended the free medical camp. She thanked Zuventus pharma for extending their cooperation for women medical camp.
In this program Dr Leelavathi, D Vishwajyothi, Dr Ayesha, Lions club Sneha representative Nagamani Reddy, Spoorthy SHG president Singam Laxmi and others participated.
