KCR signs order to regularize outsourcing employees in power firm

The Telangana government has decided to regularize the services of employees of state-run power utilities who are working on outsourcing basis.
The Telangana government has decided to regularize the services of employees of state-run power utilities who are working on outsourcing basis.
Having made an assurance in this regard earlier, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao signed the order on Saturday in Hyderabad and hailed the efforts of the employees for supplying uninterrupted power throughout Telangana.
More than 20,903 employees are working in the various power utilities in the state and with this new order the employees benefited include Transco (4,197), Genco (2,914), North Discom (4,333) and South Discom (9,459).
