Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao on Saturday exhorted the industries to come forward to provide jobs to the Telangana people.

Launching a 200 MW Solar Module and e-vehicles (rickshaw, cycle, bike) at Annaram village under Jinnaram mandal of Sangareddy district here along with Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, KTR stressed the need for establishing industries which do not cause environmental pollution.

Announcing that the setting up an LED production company in Sangareddy soon, KTR asked the big industrialists and businessmen to focus on giving 100 per cent of jobs to the local talent as the State government is keen on developing all districts and providing all facilities to the

people. Stating that new industries had been set up with an investment of Rs 7,000 crore, KTR expressed satisfaction at the launch of 200 MW solar power unit. “Now we are able produce 2,000 MW solar power and work has started for producing 5,000 MW solar power in the next two years. Since the top priority is being given for solar power production across the nation, the Centre has taken steps to produce 2 lakh MW solar power,” he said.

The Minister also said it was time for industries and businessmen to come forward to set up solar power units. The government would extend all support.

The government had so far given permissions to 4,000 new industries in the State. The government would also offer funding for training through TASK and offer skill development training enabling the youth to get jobs, he said, adding that State has abundant resources and each district has its own speciality and a Mega Textiles Park would be opened in Warangal, he said.
