The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has decided to permit the detained students to attend the classes conditionally.

Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - Hyderabad (JNTU-H) has decided to permit the detained students to attend the classes conditionally.

"In the recently published results of I Year B. Tech, a sizeable number of students have been detained. In view of the above, representations received from the students and as the CBCS system of regulations are introduced for the first time in the academic year 2016-17, it is decided to conduct an advanced supplementary exam for I Year II semester.

The principals of affiliated and constituent colleges are informed to permit the detained students to attend the classes conditionally. The notification of advanced supplementary will be released shortly," JNTU-H Registrar Dr. N. Yadaiah said in a press release on Monday.

Even as the Semester results are declared for II B. Tech and III B. Tech students, it is proposed to consider the performance of even semester also in calculating the credits required for promotion from II Year to III year and from III year to IV year which will benefit a considerable number of students, Dr. Yadaiah said.
