Penalty point system to be implemented in Telangana

Traffic Police in Telangana are all set to implement a Penalty Point System in the state. In this system, points will be counted on breaking traffic rules and once the limit is crossed, the license of the vehicle owner will be cancelled.

Telangana traffic police is going to implement this system from August 1st and taking strict actions against traffic rule violators.

According to the rules, if 12 points are crossed in two years, their licence will be cancelled. Also, penalty points will be awarded to traffic violators as per the new system and different points are allotted to different violations.
