A 42-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday after she tried to exchange fake notes of Rs 2,000 denomination. Identified as Anuyara Khatun, the accused was caught when a shopkeeper noticed the fake notes she was trying to exchange and informed the police at KPHB in Hyderabad.

The police informed that the woman hails from West Bengal and came to Hyderabad after the demise of her husband.
Working as a domestic help, the woman was lured by two persons who promised to give her commission but the aides Babur Ali and Suhani escaped after she was caught.
A suo motu case under Sections 489-B and 489-C of IPC was registered against the woman and a manhunt is launched to arrest the duo.
