The police took three persons into custody on Monday in connection with the shooting of former minister M Mukesh Goud’s son Vikram Goud. Two of them are allegedly professional killers.
Hyderabad: The police took three persons into custody on Monday in connection with the shooting of former minister M Mukesh Goud’s son Vikram Goud. Two of them are allegedly professional killers.
The police officials investigating the case maintained that the evidence available at the scene of the offence did not support the statement of Vikram Goud that he was attacked by two persons. Police sources said that he might have hired a gang to fire at him. The police, however, said that nothing can be definitely said at this point of time. The police are focussing their attention on this angle too.
They said there are traces of gun powder on his clothes and unlocked doors at the time of incident. The police, who questioned the domestic workers, found that Vikram Goud himself asked them not to lock the doors.
They said the CCTV footage available in the area was being analysed and if they can find out about the ‘black vehicle’ in the video it would help them in getting some clues. The CCTV footage has been sent to forensic laboratory for a detailed analysis, sources said.
