Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has come to the rescue of the ailing boy, Bokuri Likith Reddy by bearing his medical expenses after coming to know about him through the various reports carried in the media.
KCR directed Siddipet Collector P Venkatrami Reddy to make arrangements for the boy's surgery. The boy has four holes in his heart and his parents - Bal Reddy and Lavanya were unable to bear the expenses after getting to know that the heart transplantation surgery would cost Rs 60 lakh. They decided to take help through crowd funding.
