Telangana government has appointed senior IAS officials to study the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. Even though the work is for the Irrigation department engineers, the state government has directed the IAS officers to take up this matter for the quick completion of the project.
As per the reports, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has appointed IAS officers to study the project and advise the government on the concerned issues.
With the government committed to complete the project at a faster pace, the Senior IAS officers BP Acharya, Suresh Chandra, and Sri Laxmi have already left for Kaleshwaram.
