Jagtial: Vemulawada MLA Chennamneni Ramesh Babu had appreciated the officials of revenue department for carrying out the reforming works of revenue records perfectly in Kathalapur and Medipally mandals. The MLA met the District Collector, Dr A Sharath, at his chamber and discussed about the progress of works in Kathalapur and Medipally mandals on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ch Ramesh Babu said that the Jamabandi, Sada Bainama and reforming works of revenue records are taking place perfectly with the initiation taken by the Collector.

Land issues, which have been pending since many years are being sorted out with the initiation taken by the Collector with the implementation of various types of programmes perfectly in the district, he appreciated. The officials of the revenue department are visiting every house and taking the signatures of the pattadar of the land to prevent irregularities, he pointed out.

MLA Ch Ramesh Babu requested Collector Dr A Sharath to allot land for the construction of MARKFED godowns and buildings for Agricultural Market Committees at Kathalapur and Medipally mandals along with supporting mango farmers, who established cold storage, processing units and lightening coolers at temporary places through MARKFED by allotting a permanent land to them.

Responding positively to the MLA’s request, the Collector asked him to send proposals for allotting lands for the construction of MARKFED godowns and buildings for agricultural market committees and for allotting land for mango farmers.

District Revenue Officer T Shyam Prasad, Rural Development Officer Dr G Narender, Medipally ZPTC Purnima and Kathalapur Market Committee Chairman Anjaiah were present along with others.
