With the GST coming into effect from July 1st across the nation, it has received a mixed response. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to be upset with the imposure of GST on government projects, which are aimed at people's welfare.

Particularly, with 18% GST being imposed for the water projects and housing has left KCR with disappointment which is the reason he is planning to take up a judicial fight against this tax.

TRS has lent it's support to BJP led NDA candidates during the president and vice president elections. Now that the elections are over, they are ready to fight the centre over GST to remove the GST on welfare programmes of the government.

Not only Telangana, other states also are having a huge impact on welfare programmes due to GST and KCR is planning for a legal battle against the centre, by taking the support of the other states.
