Osmania Medical College team wins NTPC Electron Quiz-2017
Syed Mustafa Hashmi and Syed Murtuza Hashmi from Osmania Medical College won the Southern Region Round of NTPC Electron Quiz -2017 which was organised at Tagore Auditarium in Osmania University here on Saturday.

Anirudh Singhal and Rishab Thakur from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, were the first runner-up and Syed Manzoor and S M Muneer Ali of ICSI, Hyderabad, were the second runner- up team.
H Venkateshwarlu, Special Officer, OU Centenary Celebrations and Hari Kumar, GM(HR), NTPC Limited presented the prizes to the winners of NTPC Electron Quiz-2017.
The Southern Region event is open to students from engineering colleges and business management schools and professional institutes across South India. Each college/institute can sponsor two teams for the regional level event. Each team shall consist of two members only.
The subject areas are broadly from the world of corporate business, news events, general knowledge, films and entertainment, sports, etc. Based on the performance in the qualifying rounds and elimination rounds six teams shall take part in the regional level final competition on the same day.
The Winners of the southern region round received prizes worth Rs 30,000/- per team, first runner-up team got prizes worth Rs 20,000 per team and second runner-up were presented with prizes worth Rs 10,000 per team.
The fourth, fifth and sixth also received receive consolation prizes worth Rs 4,000 each per team.
Top three winners from the regional round will taking part at national level competition to be held on August 19 at Delhi.
