Telangana Jagruthi district convener Devender stated that MP Kavitha’s initiative ‘sister for change - gift a helmet’ programme was getting tremendous support from all sections of the people.
Nalgonda: Telangana Jagruthi district convener Devender stated that MP Kavitha’s initiative ‘sister for change - gift a helmet’ programme was getting tremendous support from all sections of the people.
Telangana Jagruthi district union on Saturday took out a rally from Nalgonda bus stand to clock tower to promote the initiative. Devender said several bike riders are losing their lives in road accidents by not wearing helmets and in view of this every sister should gift her brother a helmet on the occasion of Rakhi.
The main aim of the rally is to encourage girls and women to gift helmet to their brothers on the occasion of rakhi, he added.
During the rally members of the Jagruthi and students shouted the slogans like Gift helmet- Save brother.
