Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha has gifted a helmet to her brother and IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao as Rakhi gift.
She tied Rakhi to KTR at her residence Pragathi Bhavan in the presence of family members. KTR gifted a saree to his sister.
It may be mentioned that Kavitha has recently launched a campaign 'Sisters for Change' and advised all women to gift their brothers a helmet on the occasion of Rakhi festvial.
The scheme gained huge popularity and its website was recently launched by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan. Cricketer Virendra Sehwag had also appreciated the campaign.
