Hyderabad: Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy on Monday accused the TRS Government of extending blind support to GST without estimating the possible losses to the State.

Speaking to media persons here, Revanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was today regretting the wrong decision that he took on GST. He said that the State Government had approved the GST Bill in State Assembly and Council without even holding any debate.

Revanth Reddy alleged that KCR was allegedly involved in Sahara Group and ESI scams and he supported the NDA-led BJP Government's move to protect himself from the CBI investigation. He said that the CBI had so far questioned KCR on two occasions. To stop further investigation, KCR has been supporting all moves of NDA Government.

Meanwhile, TDP MLA S. Venkata Veeraiah asked the Chief Minister to explain the reasons for sudden U-turn on GST. He asked as to why the TRS Government first supported the GST and now opposing it. He alleged that the Chief Minister was worried over getting fewer kickbacks from the ongoing projects due to implementation of GST.
