Drug trafficking: Revanth knocks on HC door

Telangana TDP leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy has moved the High Court at Hyderabad seeking a direction to entrust the ongoing investigation into the recent drug trafficking case to the Narcotics Control Bureau, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation to unravel the drug nexus.
Telangana TDP leader and MLA A Revanth Reddy has moved the High Court at Hyderabad seeking a direction to entrust the ongoing investigation into the recent drug trafficking case to the Narcotics Control Bureau, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation to unravel the drug nexus.
He has filed a public interest litigation petition in this regard. It will come up for hearing on Tuesday. Revanth Reddy contended that the Special Investigation Team of the Prohibition and Excise Department is ill-equipped to investigate into drug trafficking.
