KCR orders special survey drive for updating land records in Telangana

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday held a review meeting in Hyderabad with the Revenue officials on land records in Telangana.

Instructing the officials to conduct a special survey drive to update the land records with the support of Survey of India and other reputed national agencies, KR advised them that pahani documents and pattadar passbooks should be provided in the way it can be easily understood.

The Chief Minister directed the higher officials of the Revenue department to look into the sale and purchase of lands ensuring they are held in a transparent manner.
