KTR inaugurates textile exhibition on National Handloom Day

Minister for Municipal Administration, Urban Development and Textiles KT Rama Rao on Tuesday inaugurated the textile exhibition on the occasion of National Handloom Day.

Addressing the public on the occasion, KTR said that the Telangana government for the first time the history sanctioned Rs 1283 Crore for Textile industry.

Initiating Geo Tagging process to learn the number of families depended on Textile industry and power loom sector with the help of Information and communication Technology, the state government has managed to provide 50 percent subsidy for chemicals, yard and dyes.
