Intermediate student commits suicide in hostel

An Intermediate first student from Narayana Junior College committed suicide in the hostel premises in Hyderabad.

The victim, identified as Sravya hailed from Valigonda village in Yadadri-Bhongir district.

She recently returned back from her village to the hostel after celebrating the Rakhi festival following which she hanged herself in the hostel building located at Bandlaguda in Hayathnagar mandal.

Her parents alleged that the college faculty were responsible for their daughter’s death and lodged a case against them with the police. Meanwhile, student unions staged a protest against the college demanding justice to the family of the deceased.
