After the conclusion of the rally at Pochampad, the farmers will attend the public meeting to be addressed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who will explain about the need for the revival of SRSP.

KCR laid the foundation stone for works on revival of the lift irrigation project - Sriramsagar Project (SRSP), at Pochampad today.

He also inaugurated a pylon at the project flood canal which is being set up at a cost of Rs. 2 crores and is aimed to irrigate 16 acres under SRSP.

Speaking to the media, Kavitha said that once the restoration works are completed, the water will be provided to the last acre of ayacut in North Telangana region adding that the government aims to complete the works in a year.
