TPCC General Secretary and Chief Spokesperson Sravan Dasoju described the NHRC order was a ‘slap in the face’ of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
He accused KCR of initially denying the incident and later trying to wash off his hands by suspending the Nerella SI.
The TPCC leader demanded action by the DGP against Sircilla SP Vishwajit after conducting an impartial inquiry without succumbing to any pressure of local TRS leadership. He wanted justice to be done to the victims of the alleged police torture.
