Registration for BC Overseas Scholarship to begin from Aug 15
The Backward Classes Welfare department on Friday said that registration for 2017-18 intakes for Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi (MJPBCOVN) scheme would start from August 15 and the last date of registration will be on September 30, 2017.
Hyderabad: The Backward Classes Welfare department on Friday said that registration for 2017-18 intakes for Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi (MJPBCOVN) scheme would start from August 15 and the last date of registration will be on September 30, 2017.
The BC Welfare Commissioner press release said that BC students below the age of 30, having family income of less than Rs 1.5 lakh in rural areas and Rs 2 lakh in urban areas per annum are eligible for the scheme.
Those who secured 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade in foundation degree in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine and Nursing / Social Sciences / Humanities are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
