Hyderabad: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Secunderabad, will be celebrating ‘Sri Krishnashtami’ celebrations on August 15 in the temple premises.
According to the temple authorities, the special programmes on the day will start with Mangala Harathi in the temple. The festival will be observed on a grand scale with the participation of international delegates. Pujas and prayers will commence on Tuesday morning at Brahma Muhurtha (4 AM) and will conclude with a special Mahabhishekam during midnight, the hour at which Lord Krishna was born, followed by a grand Mahaprasadam feast.
On the occasion, there will be devotional dance programmes and dramas, bhajans and various other cultural events.
