Kavitha: Govt will develop Basara temple

Basara: State government has formulated plans to develop the Gyana Saraswati temple here in Basara at a cost of Rs 126 crore, according to Nizamabad Lok Sabha member Kalvakuntla Kavitha. Kavitha visited the temple on Sunday to take part in a Kavi Sammelan.

Later speaking to media, she said the State government had initiated measures to develop all temples. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had undertaken the task of developing all temples in the State. Local legislator Vithal Reddy, architect Anand Sai and the temple sculptor submitted temple development plans to the Chief Minister, she said.The Endowments was seized of the ‘sacrilege’ that had taken place. Action would be taken against the guilty, she said.
