Hyderabad: The State government has decided to conduct Independence Day celebrations across the State in a grand manner. In an order, the General Administration Department (GAD) of the government said the Independence Day would be celebrated at Rani Mahal Lawns in Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. In a communique issued here on Sunday, the government said it had decided to conduct Independence Day celebrations in the State capital as well all districts in the Sate in a befitting manner.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will pay floral tributes to the Martyrs Memorial and later will participate in the Independence Day celebrations at Golconda Fort and unfurl the national flag. Similarly, concerned Ministers and officials will pay floral tributes at Martyr’s Memorials, attend the events in district headquarters to unfurl national flag and take the Guard of Honour as part of ceremonial parade.
