On Saturday, 4-year-old Manasa was crushed under the wheels of a school bus while the driver was reversing the vehicle at AVS Reddy Colony in Rajendranagar. This incident is the second one in less than a week as two-year-old Chaitra was run over by a car at Saidabad on August 7.
The TSRTA officials informed that the school buses which had their permits suspended were of repeat offenders and of vehicles that failed to provide fitness certificates.
