Addressing the gathering, he said Siddipet stood first among all the districts in the implementation of Mission Kakatiya and that in the first two phases of the implementation 34,03,000 cubic metre silt was removed. He said 99 per cent of land acquisition for Ananthagiri Sagar reservoir, 90 per cent for Ranganayaka Sagar, 80 per cent for Komuravelli Mallanna Sagar and 85 per cent for Kondapochamma Sagar reservoir was already completed as part of the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Project.

He added that through ‘Rythu Samagra Survey,’ officials had completed and computerised details of 2,12,070 farmers in the district and put them on government website. He added that construction of 2000 2BHK houses would be completed in the district by Dasara festival and would be handed over to the beneficiaries.

He said 74 lakh saplings were planted in the district as part of Haritha Haram Phase-III, out of the targeted two crore saplings. He appreciated the efforts of Siddipet municipality in securing ISO 9001: 2005 certification for the first time.
