TRS will not join NDA or UPA: Jithender Reddy
TRS floor leader in Lok Sabha Jithender Reddy on Wednesday made it clear that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi have no plans to join the ruling BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre. Similarly, he said that the TRS would neither join UPA which has 16 different political parties.
Hyderabad: TRS floor leader in Lok Sabha Jithender Reddy on Wednesday made it clear that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi have no plans to join the ruling BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre. Similarly, he said that the TRS would neither join UPA which has 16 different political parties.
Speaking to media persons, Jithender Reddy said that the TRS has extended issue based support to NDA Government at the Centre. However, it has also opposed the decisions which were not in the interest of Telangana State. He said that the TRS would maintain cordial relationship with the Centre to ensure fast pace growth of Telangana. He said if the Centre does not cooperate with the State Government, then it would not hesitate to fight against it.
Jithender Reddy also claimed that Telangana Government under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has been performing well and there was no space for other political parties, including BJP, for several decades.
