Hyderabad: IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has asked officials to speed up implementation of the government schemes and TRS poll promises.
Addressing a meeting to review development programmes with officials held at Dr MCR HRD Institute here on Thursday, the minister said that the TRS government, during its three-year rule, brought out some excellent policies, which won nation-wide appreciation.
He asked the officials of various government departments to state the mile stones, which they are expected to achieve in next three months. Officials, if they fail to reach the milestones, would be dealt with sternly, he cautioned.
He asked the officials to work hard to retain the first place the State got in ease of doing business. The officials should keep in mind the industries and investments that the State had so far attracted.
He also reviewed the progress on pharma city project and medical devices’ park. KTR directed the officials to ensure that more industries are set up in Aerospace sector. They have to work in such a way that task centres are extended to districts.
The minister reminded the officials that the State had ranked number one in terms of the ease of doing business. Since a public hearing is in the offing on environmental clearances to pharma city project, he asked the officials to explain the people on the advantages of the pharma city project like job creation.
