TSRTC to ply additional city
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is planning to introduce as many as 70 additional city bus services from August 21. The TSRTC has decided to do so to curb footboard travel and help passenger obviate the need to travel in crowded buses.
Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is planning to introduce as many as 70 additional city bus services from August 21. The TSRTC has decided to do so to curb footboard travel and help passenger obviate the need to travel in crowded buses.
According to officials of the TSRTC Greater Hyderabad Zone, additional services on 22 routes from Secunderabad to Dundigal, Dundigal to Secunderabad, Secunderabad to Ghatkesar, ECIL to Ghatkesar, Ghatkesar to ECIL, Ghatkesar to Secunderabad, MP X road to Chevella, Chevella to MP X road, Secunderabad to Medchal, Medchal to Secunderabad, ECIL to Keesara and Keesara to ECIL.
Other routes included Keesara to Secunderabad, Uppal to Ibrahimpatnam, Kottagudem to Secunderabad, Women’s College to Kottagudem, Secunderabad to Choutuppal, Deshmukhi to Women’s College, Miyapur x road to Gandimaisamma, Gandimaisamma to Miyapur x road, MP x road to Shankarpally and Shankarpally to MP x road.
Executive Director A Purushottam said the TSRTC had received complaints from public and students of crowded buses. Greater Hyderabad Zone had conducted a survey to assess the requirement of number of buses during college hour. Accordingly, it was decided to introduce additional services, he said. buses from Aug 21
