Traffic curbs for Marathon Event-2017 tomorrow
As the Hyderabad Marathon Event-2017 is scheduled to be held on August 20 with 16,000 participants, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya notified the traffic restrictions and diversions on August 20 from 5 am to 12 pm on the following routes in order to facilitate free movement of public and participants during the event.
Hyderabad: As the Hyderabad Marathon Event-2017 is scheduled to be held on August 20 with 16,000 participants, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya notified the traffic restrictions and diversions on August 20 from 5 am to 12 pm on the following routes in order to facilitate free movement of public and participants during the event.
Kavuri Hills/36 Jn: The vehicular traffic coming from Jubilee Hills will be diverted to 100ft road to go to Kukatpally, Kothaguda, Kondapur, Gachibowli, ORR.
Road No 45: Traffic coming from Road No 45 will be diverted towards HMDA, Durgam Chervu, Mind Space Rotary, NCB, ORR via Gachibowli/Khajaguda- Nanakramguda Rotary – ORR
Cyber Towers junction: Traffic coming from JNTU will be allowed on Cyber Tower flyover towards NCB. Traffic coming from 100 ft will not be allowed towards Mind Space, NCB etc but will allowed to Kothaguda Junction, Kondapur, Gachibowli and Hafeezpet. Traffic going towards Dellotie, HSBC, Phonex, Dell will be allowed from Cyber Tower Jn. through CII/Jubilee Enclave.
Metal Charminar: For about 30 minutes traffic will be allowed on two-way road towards Madhapur and traffic will be stopped between 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at Kothaguda Junction Biodiversity junction: Traffic coming from NCB Jn. towards Mind Space/ Inorbit Mall will be allowed via My Home Bhuja, Cyient Jn.
Gachibowli junction: Traffic coming from Kothaguda Jn. will be allowed towards NCB on two-way road. Traffic coming from ORR will take left turn at Gachibowli Jn and go to Old Bombay Road in opposite way via Indira Nagar, IIIT Jn, Gachibowli Stadium, HCU, BHEL. Whoever wants to go towards NCB/Quality Inn Jn they have to take ‘U’ turn at Gachibowli Jn and will go to Khajaguda on two-way road (or) ORR Nanakramguda Rotary service road.
GHMC Office Lingampally junction: Traffic coming from BHEL Lingampally will be diverted towards Botanical Garden via Masjid Banda towards Kothaguda, Kondapur, and Madhapur.
Wipro junction: Traffic coming from ICICI Bank will not be allowed towards IIIT.
Gopanpally ‘X’ road: Traffic coming from Gopanpally will not be allowed towards Gowlidoddi and Wipro. They have to take right turn at Kokapet and ORR service road. On August 20, from 05:00 hours to 12:00 hours heavy vehicles i.e., trucks, lorries, DCM’s, RMC and water tankers will not be allowed in the limits of Madhapur and Miyapur traffic police stations.
