Warangal Urban: Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (TASK) regional training centre will soon be set up in Warangal due to the efforts put in by Warangal (west) MLA D Vinay Bhasker.

MLA and the TASK CEO Sujiv Nair said the regional centre would likely be set up here in the next month. The centre once set up could address the problem of unemployment by offering training in skill development, they said.

It might be noted here that Vinay Bhasker had recently met Information Technology Minister K Taraka Rama Rao in Hyderabad and made a representation explaining the need of setting up the TASK regional centre at Warangal to impart skill development training to unemployed graduates.

Rama Rao consented to set up the centre here and asked the TASK officials to visit Warangal to study the level of training needed for unemployed youth. As part of the study, a team of officials led by the TASK CEO, arrived here on Saturday.

The CEO Sujiv Nair and the officials interacted with the local businessmen, industrialists, representatives of various companies at Hotel Haritha Kakatiya. The entrepreneurs and their representatives listed out job requirements and the skills needed for seeking employment.

MLA Vinay Bhasker said 30,000 to 40,000 students graduate from various colleges in Warangal annually. The TASK centre, first centre outside Hyderabad, would benefit them greatly.
