The grand felicitation programme began at 11:30 AM and was attended by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with political party leaders and prominent persons.
Speaking at the felicitation program, KCR appreciated the simplicity of Venkaiah Naidu and said that he has taken the prestige of Telugu people to new heights.
This is the first time Venkaiah Naidu is making his Hyderabad visit after he became Vice-President. Venkaiah Naidu will be staying in Raj Bhavan and will leave to Delhi on Tuesday morning.
Venkaiah Naidu became the 13th Vice President of India after defeating the opposition candidate Gopalkrishna Gandhi by a margin of 255 votes.
