Vice President Venkaiah Naidu addressed the gathering at his felicitation ceremony held by the Telangana government today at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, he thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his arrangements of Vedic chanting by Pandits and their blessings to him.

Stating that he has a special bonding with Hyderabad city and Telangana, Venkaiah Naidu hoped for the strengthening of both the Telugu states and that the CMs encourage Telugu language by making it a part of administration.

The Vice-President further urged all the the political parties to work hard towards bringing equality and peace in the state by keeping all the disparities aside.

Governor ESL Narasimhan, who attended the felicitation ceremony said that Venkaiah Naidu becoming the 13th Vice President of India is a proud moment for Telugus and is perfect fit for the post.
