BTech student commits suicide over love failure

A third-year BTech student committed suicide on Tuesday night over love failure in Hyderabad.

The deceased, identified as Sai Kiran was studying in Mahavir Engineering College at Bandlaguda and had been in love with a girl for a long time.

Sai Kiran who hailed from Nizamabad stayed at Masjid Galli in LB Nagar along with his friends, had proposed his love to the girl on Tuesday. However, when the girl rejected his proposal, he hanged himself to a ceiling fan in his room when his roommates had gone out.

They saw his body hanging to the fan on Wednesday morning and alerted the authorities. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
