Make public modalities for land survey
Telangana CPI(M) general secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Thursday demanded that the government make public the modalities on the land survey.
Hyderabad: Telangana CPI(M) general secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Thursday demanded that the government make public the modalities on the land survey.
Speaking to the media here, Veerabhadram said the State government has been making big announcements of the survey, but till date no guidelines were finalised, he pointed out. Demanding that the survey be conducted in a transparent manner, he urged the government to take the Opposition parties into confidence.
He asked the government to make farmers as part of the process and consider objections raised by them. He appealed to the government to go ahead with its proposed survey only after holding an all-party meeting.
He criticised the government for holding public hearing on Kaleshwaram without implementing the Land Acquisition Act of 2013.
