Three persons killed in road accidents
A 24-year-old youth was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a DCM van.
Hyderabad: A 24-year-old youth was killed when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a DCM van.
The accident occurred in Chilkalguda police limits on Sunday night when the victim, VC Suman, was returning to his home in Chilkalguda. He died on the spot. A case has been registered against the DCM van driver.
In another case, S. Kanta Varma, 65, died of injuries which he suffered after he was hit by a crane while he was crossing the road near his house in Durga Bhavani Nagar on August 23. He was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where he died on Sunday night, according to Banjara Hills police.
In a similar accident, Md. Suleman, 66, suffered grievous injuries after he was hit by an auto-rickshaw while he was crossing the road at Bahadurpura crossroads on Sunday morning. He was admitted to Osmania General Hospital where he died on Sunday night. He was a kirana shop owner and resident of Asad Baba Nagar in Kishan Bagh, according to Bahadurpura police.
