Vehicle code TS14 kept aside

Hyderabad: Even though the Transport Department has allocated vehicle codes for Twin Cities from TS09 to TS14, the code TS14 has not so far been used for vehicle registration.

The vehicle codes underwent changes at the district-level twice after the formation of the State. The codes for the Twin Cities were allocated keeping in view the importance of the State Capital.

When enquired, Transport Commissioner J Panduranga Rao told The Hans India that the code TS14 was allocated to Hyderabad. It was allotted to any area. It has been kept for use in future in view of number of vehicle increasing in Twin Cities.
